I have been taking a trip down memory lane for the past few weeks. I started by reading all of my old letters from my husband and putting them into a book to give to him for Valentine’s Day. After I had finished with that, I pulled out all of my old photo albums and scrapbooks and hyperventilated a little when I saw the pictures cut into shapes like hearts and butterflies. Whoever thought that was a good idea? I might need therapy.
But reading those letters and looking through all of those pictures made me a little nostalgic for days past. Plus, it forced me to realize how few pictures I was actually in since I was always behind the camera. If I could go back and change one thing, it would probably be that. I want to see myself with those cute kids in the midst of daily life, not just at big events.
Time disappears far too quickly; I tell you. So get in the pictures, mamas, even if you don’t like the way you look!
Today, I would like to take you with me to the olden days and give you a little peek into my motherhood experience since its inception 18 and a half years ago. This will be a photo essay featuring pictures and no words after this introduction. Some of the pictures are of poor quality since they are old and our photography skills were a little lacking, not to mention they came from the dinosaur age before digital editing. But I hope you enjoy them anyway!
This is my motherhood:
